BIO

Phil Longden is a sound designer, producer, and co-founder of Flesh for Flesh Productions, driven by a lifelong passion for horror and a deep-rooted dedication to storytelling through sound. A graduate of Full Sail University with a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Production, Phil combines technical expertise with a cinematic ear, specializing in creating immersive soundscapes for film, television, and independent productions.

Phil’s creative journey began in childhood, watching thrilling yet kid-friendly classics with his grandfather like Jaws and Jurassic Park, which sparked a fascination with tension, atmosphere, and the power of sound. That early curiosity evolved into a full-blown obsession with the horror genre—a love that now fuels every project he touches.

With eight years of service in the United States Army, Phil approaches every creative endeavor with discipline, resilience, and a mission-first mentality. His military background instilled in him an unwavering work ethic and the drive to see every project through to completion, no matter the challenge.

Outside of film, Phil has spent his life immersed in heavy metal music. A lifelong musician and band member, he channels the raw energy and emotion of the genre into both his musical and cinematic work, creating intense, visceral experiences that leave a lasting impact.

At the heart of it all is Phil’s desire to build a legacy—not just for his brand or his body of work, but for his two children. Through Flesh for Flesh Productions, he aims to create bold, unforgettable stories while supporting other aspiring filmmakers and ensuring his kids grow up knowing that passion, creativity, and dedication can lead to something truly lasting.
